	See the current market value of your shares
	Request a statement of account activity
	Request materials for dividend reinvestment, direct deposit of dividends, and automatic investment enrollment

	Look up historical market prices

If your shares are held through a broker, you need to contact your broker for information about your account.

Former GTE registered shareowners will be able to access their account once they have received their pre-assigned password. The pre-assigned password will be provided on the dividend checks and Direct Invest statements mailed for the Verizon Communications dividend payable August 1, 2000.
